Grease - Backing Up Otis Rush - Madison, Wisconsin - 1970

Here is some music from Grease in 1970 backing up Otis Rush.

Mike Larscheid stated, "Grease was playing in Madison and our manager Ken Adamady asked us if we wanted to back up Otis Rush. Otis had recently released a new album which was produced by Nick Gravanitice and Mike Bloomfield which we were listening to for a couple of months and loved it and knew it by heart. Long story short, Otis never did one cut from the album cause he didn’t like it. We ended up jamming on songs we all knew and it worked out fine."

Players:

Otis Rush, Jim Krueger, Mike Larscheid, Andy Pigeon, Larry Byrne, and Junior Olson

Here are 7 songs from that night:

Intro Jam

Cross Cut Saw

Drown on Dry Land

Got Nobody

Natural Ball

Our Love Will Never Die

Stormy Monday
