I was probably there when this was recorded, as I knew Jim well from our high school days and followed his career. I at times was a "volunteer roadie" and helped haul equipment in my '58 Chevy. I have many recordings of "Grease," (including one practice session at "the Farm") a couple of "Hotnoggin," and one of "The New Blues" (a band with Sam McCue taped at the Avante Guard in Milwaukee). I drove Jim from Manitowoc to see the band and recorded them so he could review and learn from them. Do you happen to have a recording of Mike singing "Try a Little Tenderness"? It's one of my favorites that Grease did and I remember the crowd going wild when they played it at the Armory. Hi to Mike and looking forward to many visits to your web site.
